In Cyprus road tax must be paid so that your vehicle can be driven on Cypriot roads to obtain road tax your vehicle will need to be insured and have a current Department of Road Transport test. In Cyprus road tax can be paid online or at your local Department of Road Transport. In Cyprus road tax is charged based on the engine size of the vehicle. (see the below table for rates)
