EU (European Union) driving license are recognised in Spain and can be used until the current expiry date after that date a Spainish driving license must be applied forNon EU driving licenses can be used in Spain for upto 1 year but you must have an approved translation of your driving license or an international driving permit after 1 year you must apply for a Spainish driving license
Items that must be kept in car
When driving in Spain the following items must be kept in you car/vehicle at all times- 2 Warning Triangles
- A reflective jacket
- Replacement Bulbs
- Spare tyre and tools
- Driving License
- Certicate of insurance
- Vehicle registration document
